GO Global Outreach Sundays  Every Second Sunday*, 5:00-6:30 p.m. NEW TIME!  The Chapel, 3rd floor

Jesus said, "GO into all the world!" For those of you who have an interest in local and foreign missions, be a part of "GO" Sundays. Be inspired by testimonies, and become equipped with teachings and trainings that will enable you to GO be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever you are. Meetings are open to everyone. Spanish translation and childcare available at all meetings. *except for Easter (April meeting cancelled) and Mother's Day (date change to May 17, instead).

Joan Murray will share from her new book, Called and Chosen for Destiny. You'll leave with tools in your hand and an action plan!
June 14 -- (Time & Location Change this Month only) Change a Life; Pack a Box!, as we go to the International Medical Outreach Warehouse,  3-6 p.m.
July 12 -- Surprise Missionary Guest Speaker
August 9 -- 3-Hour Disaster Certification Training with Victim Relief Ministries, Cost $25. Pay in the RRM Bookstore#2.
September 13 -- Arabs and Jews Unite! Come see how with a special guest from Israel.
October 11 -- How Jesus Dealt with the Spirit World
November 8 -- Reaching Children in Any Country

Missions Trainings: Missions Team Leader Training Every Second Sunday* 6:30-8:00 p.m., Chapel, 3rd Floor

We offer free Missions Team Leader Training for persons wanting to lead or co-lead a local or foreign missions team outreach. If you would like to interview to be a Team Leader and begin the training, please call 913-498-1308, option #3, to leave your contact information. Meetings are held the same dates as the Global Outreach "GO" Sundays, i.e. the second Sunday each month, *except for Easter (April meeting cancelled) and Mother's Day (date change to May 17, instead).

Monthly Local "SHINE" Outreaches Shine your light in the community!

Depelchin Children's Home – serves as a safe home for adoptive and abandoned children. Volunteer Opportunities include holiday projects, activities facilitator, infant care.  To Volunteer, contact Yolanda Mendeosone at 939-863-3774 .

RRM Church Hospital Ministry – has volunteer opportunities to visit, encourage and assist patients and their families in various hospitals throughout the Greater Houston Area. To Volunteer, please call at 953-491-1212.

Ronald McDonald House – is for families with children being treated for cancer or other illnesses at the Texas Medical Center institutions. Volunteer opportunities are to visit and donate your time, bake treats or prepare and serve meals. Contact 919-793-3501.

Star of Hope Mission – is a Christ-centered community meeting the needs of homeless men, women and children. Volunteer opportunities include serving meals, tutoring, and Christmas holiday projects.  Contact the Volunteer Coordinator to inquire about volunteering.

The Beacon  – is a day center serving the basic needs of the downtown street community. The Beacon provides a hot meal, laundry, shower and clothing services to approximately 400 people each day. Volunteer Opportunities: Greeting services, clothing center, food services. Volunteers will meet the last Saturday each month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Call 913-499-1356 for more information.
