Pastor Steven Furtick
founder and lead pastor of Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina
Will talk about the thing the  world needs desperately is the restoration of the Biblical virtue of honor.  nowhere is this more true than in the Body of Christ. I’m tired of people slinging hate at other churches and pastors, and for the Church being known more for what it stands against than for what it stands for.

Pete Wilson: Senior Pastor, Cross Point Church, Nashville, TN
This morning, Pete will talk about "Anything But Ordinary."

We’re convinced that others are living the good life, the version of life we desire. But when we look around, isn’t it true that this pursuit has left most of us just feeling ordinary?  Redefine the good life-a life that is anything but ordinary.  What if God has designed our lives for a very different pursuit?  What if Jesus’ words turned the traditional thought of his day totally upside down?

Lead Pastor Shawn Lovejoy of Mountain Lake Church, Georgia.  Shawn is also the co-founder of churchplanters.com, an organization designed to give pastors permission to do what it takes to reach people disconnected from Christ and the church.  Today, he will lead a conversation about, "Aren’t you glad someone believed that about you? Invested into you? invited you? Are you now ready to act on the belief that “people matter to God” with all of your life and resources? Are you ready to go after that “one” in your life?"

Announcing our latest Church Plant!

A pub church is a Christian Church which meets in a public house or similar
establishment. Their purpose is to exist as an authentic Christian community,
located in a way that is more accessible to non-churched people.
They understand themselves to be "without the external trappings of
 more traditional churches.
Pastor Shirley River Coalson comments:  "If 'church' is what happens when people
encounter the Risen Jesus and commit themselves to sustaining
and deepening that encounter in their encounter with each other,
there is plenty of theological room for diversity of rhythm and style, so
long as we have ways of indentifying the same living Christ at
the heart of every expression of Christian life in common
."

The HIV/AIDS Initiative at Rusty River Ministries was born out of the conviction that God cares about sick people – He loves people who are HIV-positive. A study of Scripture reveals a God who is passionate about the sick, the widow, the orphan, the immigrant, and the poor. Over and over He instructs the children of Israel to make provisions for them, treating them fairly and with compassion. Jesus spent one-third of his ministry healing the sick. There is no doubt in our minds that if Jesus was walking the earth today He would be with orphans, widows, and those living with HIV and AIDS. His heart was always with those ignored, neglected, or rejected by society.

Today, those with HIV and AIDS are often treated as outcasts, forcing them to hide even from family members out of fear or shame. It is likely that someone in your workplace or church is HIV-positive and you don’t know it. Because Jesus loved, touched, and cared for those who were sick, we must too. We care because God cares. We care because people matter to God and to us.

The global HIV and AIDS pandemic is the Church’s greatest opportunity to serve the hurting like Jesus did, to show God’s love to skeptics, to share the Good News, and to extend a helping hand in communities around the world. You have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

"You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate" (Luke 6:36)

Pastor Shirley recently announced that Pastor Will Hugfarr is the new pastor over our HIV/AIDS ministry. Meet Will and his wife Tulip for lunch tomorrow and hear about their vision for this very important ministry.

Remember the word of our illustrious founder
,
What are we going to do now, we’re going global, its time to
bless the whole world "  This is one more step along the way.

*Here is that prepared e-mail for you.  Just cut and paste it into the message you want to send to a friend.

Dear Friend,
Do you ever feel like you need to be rescued? I would like to invite you to join me at the Rusty River Temple during this post-Easter season. Pope Rusty, will be giving a message entitled The Greatest Rescue.   Pastor Rick's message of hope and promise to encourage anyone in need of rescue.  I hope you'll consider joining me this post-Easter month of May.

Dear Rusty River Ministries family,

Bishop Ruthie and I would like to thank you for all of your generous giving, your commitment and your selfless sacrifices that have made 2010 such and amazing year. In addition, thank you for staying in faith and believing for God to do great things through the RRM Church!
Because of you, this year we saw over 347,950 people accept Jesus as their Savior in our weekend services. Hundreds of thousands attended our live worship events in the United States and around the world, and we delivered hope to nearly 50,000 people in Dodger stadium and millions more through the live television event. Without a doubt, 2010 was one of the greatest years of ministry that we've ever known.  We know that you will help us far exceed last year's triumph for the Lord!
With just a few weekends left in the year, I would like to ask you, along with the many other families of RRM, to consider a special year-end gift. We have made it through a very challenging year, and nothing would prepare our church more for 2010 than to experience a supernatural outpouring of support.
It is a new season of God’s favor. It is a season to discover and seize God’s increase on our church and on our lives. I am so excited about what is to come here at RRM and around the world as we share the hope of Jesus.
Check below to give a special year-end gift.

Partner with RRM in the work being done throughout the world.  You can be a part of God's work by donating resources to be used to reach others with the message of Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for being a vital part of the RRM family.
Expecting God to do greater things,

Pastor Shirley

Pastor Shirley thanks you for your support.  As many thousands of you have inquired, let us say we'll soon update this very outdated picture.  We have yet to find time in our very busy schedule of meditation and contemplation to sit for a fresh one.
