A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITY IS EXTEND TO
THE RRM FAMILY |
| During the month of May members, in
good standing with the Rusty River Ministries, will have the
opportunity of a life-time to escape for the full month of
May to one
of our Monasteries on our own remote RRM Island sequestered
somewhere in the mighty Pacific Ocean.
When you return, you will be revitalized and ready to accept
your evangelical mission with greater focus and motivation.
It will be money well spent in His service. |
The Remote and Sacred
Rusty River Monastery
 |
Everyone of us is
called upon to serve God in various different ways.
Monasticism is a particular calling, a very special way for a
man to serve God and Humanity.
Every man has a particular gift, as Saint Paul says. The
"calling" for someone to become a monk is in itself such a
"gift".
God himself talks directly with the monk-to-be (using signs,
indications, or man’s inner voice), or (talks to the monk)
through his Spiritual Guide (Spiritual Father).
Monasticism is one of the ways by which a man can reach God.
This is accomplished by solitude, prayer, exercise, obedience to
the Spiritual Father service and fasting. |

| A New Way to Invite
Your Unchurched Friends and Neighbors. |
|
Pope Rusty says,
"It's awkward to say 'hey come to
my church.' It just feels weird and you don't want to twist
somebody's arm so to kind of alleviate some of that weirdness
what we've done is said hey if you bring your friend to church
they might potentially win a big screen 3D television," |
 |
"Now, there's a new
and easy way to do that. For the entire month of May,
just hand them one (or) more raffle tickets and invite them to
attend any one of our Sunday morning services."
Rusty told the media, "I have no problem bribing people with
crap in order to meet Christ. You shouldn't either!"
One set will be given away at each or our services. |

OUR VISION FOR CHURCH PLANTING
As a movement, we want to plant churches which exhibit
the following traits:
A commitment to worship and serve the Triune God revealed in
Jesus Christ
A focus on building communities of faith that worship the Lord in
the beauty of His holiness
A desire to grow as Spirit-filled communities that hear - and
obey - His voice
A compassion that leads to training and equipping the church
community to serve the poor, the lost, and the sick
An outward-focused passion that goes out in the power of the
Spirit to do the works of the Kingdom of God, making disciples, planting
reproducing churches, and taking the gospel to the nations
|

This morning,
The Anointed
Prophetess Gretchen S. Penner
will bring you a service that will be
THE MOST POWERFUL &
INSPIRATIONAL service you could ever bring a friend to.
Please, please…don’t waste this Sunday attending by
yourself! Pick up the phone and invite your un-churched friends to
come with you. God wants to use you! Will anyone be in heaven because of
you? Care enough to call. |

RRM Temple joins worldwide Flash Mob dance scene
More than 1500 dancers will spontaneously erupt
into dance in between services outside the Worship Center every Saturday
and Sunday proving that the Flash Mob craze is alive and well at
RRM Temple. The 5-minute production is part of an effort to include
Flash Mob dances as a regular part of our worship services.
What better way to celebrate the fact that Jesus is
in our souls than with the soles of our feet?

HELP by donating to our:

Evangelism
The church is the whole body of Christ, both in Heaven and on earth. It is
both visible and invisible. While the mystical perception
of the church is valid, this teaching must always be held with a
doctrine of visible local churches. This is the New Testament norm.
Planting local churches is the divine plan. The very language of the
Great Commission infers the local church. The method for making
disciples prescribed by Christ can occur in none other context than that
of a local church. |

Our Biblical Vision for Being
Missional
Our purpose with respect to ministry is not to super-size
but to multiply
Numerous studies have shown that a strategy of growing through
multiplication; that is multiple services, sites and congregations, is
especially effective at three key purposes:
A. Reaching non-Christians.
B. Developing more people in discipleship and ministry.
C. Enabling the church to retain a sense of community while
continually reaching out to new people in obedience to the great
commission.
All of this costs money; lots of money.

The evangelical church
exists for the purpose of:
•proclaiming assurance
of personal salvation through
faith in Jesus
Christ
•witnessing to the personal
cleansing and empowering
of the Holy Spirit |
Our vision is:
•to engage the harvest
both in the United States
and overseas
•transform our cultures
as we grow in
Chirst-likeness (holiness) |
Our mission is a God-birthed passion:
•to bring people into a vital saving relationship with Jesus
•to provide the unchurched with a healthy church family
•to disciple believers into heart holiness and the Spirit-filled life
•to build a network of healthy life-giving multiplying churches |
We will accomplish our mission by:
•praying
•living a Spirit-filled life
•evangelizing
•discipling and building healthy life-giving multiplying churches by
intentionally developing a system of assessing and coaching |

May
1, 2011

Dear Friends,
Dear Rusty River Family,
Welcome to this special post Easter edition of News and Views.
I’ve prepared the most message I’ve ever given in the history of
Rusty River Ministry titled The Greatest Rescue.
I want you to bring three things with you post Easter:
•Bring a friend- At Christmas last year, of the 50,000 people
that came to the RRM Temple, only 360 were first-time visitors. This
This month, don’t come to RRM alone; bring a friend. Pope Rusty has provided
a pre-written email* that you can send to your friends and family.
•Bring your May offering – Your faithful giving has helped us
revitalize, refurbish and remodel the Temple campus. We’re now starting
the renovation the entire property to make it more seeker-friendly. So
bring your offering as we continue the Decade of Destiny.
•Bring a bag of groceries - Last year for our 30th
anniversary, I asked everyone to bring a bag of groceries. We filled
three semi-truck loads! We’re now feeding several thousand families
through our food pantry, so please bring a bag of groceries with you
again this Easter.
This month, I’m starting a new series called "Raising Amazing
Kids – What Smart Parents Know and Do." If you’re thinking about
beginning a family, currently raising children, or even if you’re
childless, these principles will be very helpful.
We’ll see you this coming and the following weeks. God bless you.
Pope Rusty and Bishop Ruthie

*Here is that prepared e-mail for you.
Just cut and paste it into the message you want to send to a friend.
Dear Friend,
Do you ever feel like you need to be rescued? I would like to invite you
to join me at the Rusty River Temple during this post-Easter season.
Pope Rusty, will be giving a message entitled The Greatest Rescue.
Pastor Rick's message of hope and promise to encourage anyone in need of
rescue. I hope you'll consider joining me this post-Easter month
of May. |

Dear Rusty River
Ministries family,
Bishop
Ruthie and I would like to thank you for all of your generous giving,
your commitment and your selfless sacrifices that have made 2010 such
and amazing year. In addition, thank you for staying in faith and
believing for God to do great things through the RRM Church!
Because of you, this year we saw over 347,950 people accept Jesus as
their Savior in our weekend services. Hundreds of thousands attended our
live worship events in the United States and around the world, and we
delivered hope to nearly 50,000 people in Dodger stadium and millions
more through the live television event. Without a doubt, 2010 was one of
the greatest years of ministry that we've ever known. We know
that you will help us far exceed last year's triumph for the Lord!
With just a few weekends left in the year, I would like to ask you,
along with the many other families of RRM, to consider a special
year-end gift. We have made it through a very challenging year, and
nothing would prepare our church more for 2010 than to experience a
supernatural outpouring of support.
It is a new season of God’s favor. It is a season to discover and seize
God’s increase on our church and on our lives. I am so excited about
what is to come here at RRM and around the world as we share the hope of
Jesus.
Check below
to give a special year-end gift.
Partner with RRM in the work being done throughout the world. You can
be a part of God's work by donating resources to be used to reach others
with the message of Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for being a vital part of the RRM family.
Expecting God to do greater things,
Pope Rusty and

Pope Rusty and Bishop Ruthie thank you for your support. As many
thousands of you have inquired, let us say we'll soon update this
very outdated picture. We have yet to find time in our very
busy schedule of meditation and contemplation to sit for a fresh one. |
