cloistered, monastic, meditation, Guru Rusty, as he chooses to be
called, is has resumed his leadership of the Rusty River Missional Church.
He continues his much anticipated topic series, "Christian Mystical Meditational Practices"

Pastor, author Chuck Swindoll will guide our conversation this morning around the thought, “ So You Want to Be Like Christ," to which he adds, "I do not believe anyone can ever become a deep person without stillness and silence." He'll help us understand that the use of a mantra takes the practitioner into God’s presence. The quiet repetition of a single word can help us to descend with the mind into the heart .. This way of simple prayer . opens us to God’s active presence.”

Days of Creation in Genesis 1, creating an inspiring experience of

Dear RRM Family,
I could not count the times I’ve overhead people say “If you want a
strong marriage, go to RRMinistries.” For 40 years, one of our main
goals is to strengthen marriages – whether newlyweds, step-parents,
hurting marriages, those separated, or great marriages wanting to keep
getting better.
I doubt there is another church that invests more time, energy, and
money in supporting marriages and families. We offer literally hundreds
of specialized small groups, programs, audio series and books by our
staff, pre-marriage counseling, and tens of thousands of hours of
marriage coaching every year.

Sister Ruthie and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary this week,
and we have written new vows that we intend to say publicly to each
other in our services.
Then, I will invite all married couples who wish to renew their vows to
each other to stand where they are and I will ‘remarry” you! Thousands
of couples have told me how much this strengthened (and often saved)
their marriage when they have participated in the past.
Even if you are unmarried, you won’t want to miss this inspiring
weekend, along with my message “WHY MARRIAGE MATTERS.”

Ministries family,
Sister
Ruthie and I would like to thank you for all of your generous giving,
your commitment and your selfless sacrifices that have made 2009 such
and amazing year. In addition, thank you for staying in faith and
believing for God to do great things through the RRM Church!
Because of you, this year we saw over 195,101 people accept Jesus as
their Savior in our weekend services. Hundreds of thousands attended our
live worship events in the United States and around the world, and we
delivered hope to nearly 50,000 people in Dodger stadium and millions
more through the live television event. Without a doubt, 2009 was one of
the greatest years of ministry that we've ever known. We know
that you will help us far exceed last year's triumph for the Lord!
With just a few weekends left in the year, I would like to ask you,
along with the many other families of RRM, to consider a special
year-end gift. We have made it through a very challenging year, and
nothing would prepare our church more for 2010 than to experience a
supernatural outpouring of support.
It is a new season of God’s favor. It is a season to discover and seize
God’s increase on our church and on our lives. I am so excited about
what is to come here at RRM and around the world as we share the hope of
Jesus.
