About Us
Our dream is to create a home for people that seek a deep and intimate encounter with God and desire to create lifelong friendships. We celebrate the diversity of individuals, their opinions, and their spiritual journey.
Community

We value every person from every worldview as family. We do not have membership or a test that one takes to be welcomed. We do this because we believe this is how Jesus did ministry. He never asked anyone to first change then follow him. Rather he simply said “follow me” and they changed by being around him. No matter doubts, questions, politics, or social status – “OC Gathering” is your home.
Apprenticeship to Jesus

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again to save us. Our  response to such a wonderful gift is to become his students. Jesus had a way of living that he wanted his disciples to follow. We spend every sunday discussing what it means to love our enemies, forgive, be free of addiction to wealth and approval, and strive to always live in the life giving power of the Kingdom.
Priesthood of every believer

We believe that all disciples of Jesus have different roles in the church but all have the same power and life available to them through Christ. No person is greater than another. All believers have a ministry to fulfill as the Lord leads. As a church, we make a physical impact on the city around ust. We have ministries to the homeless, the abused, hungry children, and we help many with physical needs in our community.
Serve

OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
Whether your greeting visitors or packing meals for homeless children, serving others deepens your relationship with God, those you serve, and those you serve with. At The Gathering, we are all ministers serving in a wide variety of ministry roles. We use our personal and spiritual gifts to work together as the Body of Christ. We are committed to offering opportunities to serve in the Lord’s kingdom-building work.
